Coverdash is a rapidly growing insurtech agency focused on helping small to medium-sized businesses manage their insurance needs. The Commercial Sales Broker will be responsible for selling and managing commercial insurance solutions, quoting and rating new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure optimal placements.

Responsibilities

Sell Property & Casualty (P&C) commercial insurance to small and mid-sized businesses
Quote, rate, and place new business by working with carriers and wholesale partners
Manage leads and daily outreach through our CRM to drive pipeline and close opportunities
Advise clients on risk exposures and recommend tailored coverage solutions
Collaborate with internal brokers and underwriters to secure optimal placements
Drive new policy sales and hand off bound accounts to account management for a seamless client experience

Qualification

Commercial insurance experienceActive P&C licenseRatingQuoting skillsCRM/AMS platform experienceE&S lines exposureCommunication skillsSelf-starterTime management skillsProblem-solvingOrganizational skills

Required

3-5 years of commercial insurance experience, with strong exposure to E&S lines
Active P&C license in good standing
Proven ability to manage high volumes of inbound submissions and warm transfers
Hands-on experience rating, quoting, and placing business across multiple E&S and admitted carriers
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a consultative, client-first approach
Self-starter with a track record of driving results in a fast paced, high growth environment
Highly organized with excellent time management skills
Comfortable learning and navigating new technology, carrier portals, and underwriting systems
Experience using CRM/AMS platforms and comparative rating tools

Preferred

Experience in insurtech, an MGA, E&S underwriting, or a startup environment
