Responsibilities
Be proficient in negotiating settlements with adjusters & attorneys
Prepare clients for depositions
Oversee and coordinate the workflow of paralegals and support staff
Monitor case progress and send timely reminders to support staff, ensuring that assignments are completed on schedule and key milestones are achieved
Support paralegals by identifying and resolving obstacles that may impede task completion
Maintain open and effective communication with clients, providing them with updates and guidance
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5-years experience
Ability to manage cases from inception through resolution
Self-motivation
Ability to collaborate with support staff
Strong background in Law, with a focus on Personal Injury and Labor and Employment Law
Proficiency in providing Legal Advice and advocacy for clients
Proven Negotiation skills, including the ability to liaise with insurance companies and other parties to secure favorable outcomes
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective client relationships
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a member in good standing of the New York State Bar
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively
Preferred
Experience in personal injury litigation or similar legal fields
