Senior LevelScalence L.L.C. is seeking a Mainframe Tech Lead to oversee and support the work of mainframe developers. The role involves participating in software development processes and maintaining high standards for code quality while developing and maintaining applications.

Responsibilities
Oversee and review the work of mainframe developers
Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
Provide support for fixing defects during the testing cycle
Apply agile methodologies to streamline development and testing processes
Maintain high standards for code quality
Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, PL1, JCL, DB2, and CICS
Support knowledge such as checking mainframe logs and fixing job abends
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Strong knowledge in PL1, COBOL, DB2, JCL, and SQL Stored Procedure Development
Proficiency in RTC IDZ tools and JIRA
Experience with Online CICS, MQ, and Batch Processing
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Good understanding of design patterns
Experience in financial services is a plus
Preferred
Experience with System Z - Enterprise COBOL
Knowledge of IT IS_AMS_Mainframe_IMS Administration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
