Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (DEV/DTA)
The U.S. Secret Service is seeking a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist to lead the Application Services Branch within the Office of the Chief Information Officer. This role involves supervising a team of developers and technologists to deliver high-quality, mission-driven software solutions.

Responsibilities
Supervising and assigning work to programmers, designers, technologists and technicians, and other engineering and scientific personnel
Effectively guiding, motivating, and developing a multidisciplinary workforce
Developing and administering databases and/or data management systems that allow for storage, query, protection, and utilization of data
Developing and writing/coding new (or modifies existing) computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs following software assurance best practices
Qualification
Required
Possess information technology related experience demonstrating each of the four required competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
You qualify for the GS-15 level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level performing duties such as leading and coordinating work for developers and technologists, ensuring delivery of solutions using Agile methodology and iterative development cycles
Establishing and enforcing software development standards, code quality governance, and best practices across multiple teams and projects
Managing a portfolio of enterprise and mission-critical applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with IT policies and standards
Ensuring software solutions comply with federal security, privacy, and accessibility requirements
Time-in-Grade Requirements: Must meet 'time-in-grade' requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying)
U.S. Citizenship is required
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service
Obtain and maintain a top-secret Tier 5 clearance
Submit a credit check after a conditional offer of employment has been accepted
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position
Submit to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination prior to your appointment
Submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter
Complete annual ethics and procurement integrity training
Subject to a one-year probationary period for supervisors/managers
