Responsibilities

Operate continuous polishing equipment
Support optical manufacturing processes around continuous polishing
Precision surfacing/polishing process design and documentation
Interfacing with production and engineering teams
Defining necessary tooling for manufacturing
Live support of manufacturing processes
Clear communication through documentation
Careful working method

Required

BS or MS in Engineering: Mechanical, Optical, or Manufacturing
OR 15+ years of experience in optical manufacturing
Depth knowledge of continuous polishing processes
Ability to work with other teams
Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred

Depth knowledge of optics
Siemens NX or comparable 3D modeling
ME10 or comparable 2D drafting
GD&T drafting standards
