Responsibilities

Serving as the Executive Correspondence Manager and supporting the Executive Secretary in carrying out day-to-day operations
Reviewing, managing, and tracking all official correspondence and communications sent to Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and checking for accuracy, correct program/security classification and markings, and ensuring the timely review and action in accordance with organizational policies
Ensuring read-ahead materials meet the DIU Director's expectations, and coordinating appropriately to ensure compliance with policies, formats, and communication channels
Promoting and practicing the security precautions required for handling and control of classified and critically sensitive communications of the DIU
Updating related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and providing regular training on key Executive Secretary functions for the DIU workforce, including the records management program

This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret/SCI security clearance
This position may require occasional travel (up to 30%) away from your normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
Financial Disclosure Form, OGE 450, is required
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your experience performing editing for content, context, or proper form; routing, tracking, and assisting in responding to official correspondence; and administering a records management program
