Responsibilities
Perform accounts receivable functions, including billing, cash application, and collections
Assist with revenue recognition activities in accordance with GAAP
Maintain revenue schedules, deferred revenue, and contract liability reconciliations
Perform GL close, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analysis
Assist with internal and external audit requests
Participate in process improvement initiatives
Support ad hoc accounting analysis and special projects
Coordinate with internal teams and external tax advisors to maintain tax-related schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts used for tax reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Support tax-related audit requests, including documentation for income, sales/use, and payroll taxes
Assist with tracking tax payments, notices, and correspondence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
5–7 years of accounting experience, with exposure to AR and revenue
Strong understanding of GAAP is required
Advanced Excel and ERP experience
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and highly motivated
Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadline consistently and work well under pressure
Team player with a “can do” attitude
Preferred
Tax exposure preferred
Knowledge of QAD a plus
