Responsibilities
Invoicing customers for conducting criminal history checks
Generating monthly customer invoices in the Revenue Accounting Management System
Working with customers regarding their account balances, working past due accounts and overpayments, and researching issues as they arise
Identifying accounts for collections and write-offs; and
Preparing additional reports as needed
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
Knowledge of the methods of data collection
Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to an accounting program
Ability to plan, organizes, and coordinates work assignments
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability to utilize problem solving techniques
Ability to use computer software skills, including BEGINNER skills in database/spreadsheet software, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Word
Preferred
Preference will be given to current FDLE members who have satisfactorily completed at least six months of the probationary period for their current position
