Responsibilities
Proactively performing database monitoring and performance tuning
Implementing and maintaining database security controls aligned with industry and regulatory requirements
Assessing incidents and vulnerabilities, monitoring patching status, reviewing configuration baselines, and evaluating compliance test results related to SQL technologies
Assisting infrastructure staff with performance and capacity monitoring
Staying current on best practices and technological advancements and serving as a technical resource for compliance
Developing, documenting, and revising system design procedures, test procedures, and security standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems (or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL database technologies
Ability to travel up to 25%
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification required at time of hire
Visa sponsorship is not available
Position is subject to ITAR requirements, requiring U.S. person status
