As such, Cal/OSHA requires that the incumbent be annually medically cleared to be fit-tested for respiratory protection equipment
This clearance process consists of a comprehensive medical evaluation including a review of the incumbent's medical history, a complete physical examination, and vision, hearing, spirometry, and exercise treadmill test
Qualification
Required
Professional Civil Engineering license is required
The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired

Ability to obtain and maintain certified purchaser status
Must possess a valid certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists
Preferred
Knowledge and/or experience in structural design, water and waste water design and treatment systems, hydraulics-pumping systems, geotechnical knowledge and design, and construction surveying
Proficient in Auto CAD
Ability to drive a state vehicle to various job site locations
Ability to obtain and maintain certified purchaser status
