Responsibilities
Build and lead a team of 6 engineers focused on product development, customer feature requests, and the product roadmap
Provide guidance to engineers through code reviews and 1:1s
Hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence
Develop and execute engineering strategy aligned with business objectives
Ensure engineering best practices, code quality, and system reliability
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the product ahead of the market
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in engineering for product development, with a demonstrated career of increasing responsibility
Experience building cloud-based and on-prem products
Agentic software development experience leveraging compound AI systems
A strong network of Principal+ engineers who can contribute to the team and increase product velocity
Experience in a hyper-growth company within a highly competitive market
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Preferred
Security or data product development experience
Patents or original authorship of an open-source product
