Interns will gain hands-on experience while contributing to the Community & Economic Development and Public Works departments, focusing on economic prosperity and reducing disparities in the community.

Data collection and analysis

Participation with departmental staff in discussions, program design and program implementation
Qualification
Required
Enrollment at a post-secondary school in coursework relevant to the duties of the department to which assigned
Preferred
Interest in developing and implementing programs and policies that seek to eliminate racial, cultural and economic disparities within the community
Previous volunteer or work experience in government, nonprofits or similar fields
Proven communication and writing skills
