The role involves coordinating strategic and fiscal planning, program development, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
GOALS - Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitor and evaluate program effectiveness; makes changes required for improvement
PLANNING - Coordinate and oversee strategic planning and goal development for the organization; monitor achievement of goals and objectives and provide reports
COMPLIANCE - Oversee and monitor performance of assigned departments to ensure compliance with State, Federal and university policy, TJC guidelines and other health care industry standards
BUDGET - Develop and coordinate annual budgets for the organization and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses
COMPLIANCE - Oversee Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations compliance activities across the various hospital components
REPORTS - Review and ensure accurate completion and timely submission of contractual, governmental, university, hospital, and other reports as required, with respect to assigned areas of responsibilities
FUNDING - Plan and develop strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the project/program; prepare contract and/or grant proposals
PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Develop and maintain project plans to plan, test and implement system and process changes required to meet assigned projects in support of organizational objectives

Enrolled in Healthcare related Bachelors/Masters pgm
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met
