They are seeking an Assurance Intern for their Third Party Attestation practice to learn about preparing third-party attestation reports and testing various control systems.

Responsibilities
Testing and documenting internal control systems in a variety of industries
Participating in the review of internal controls
Assisting in the preparation of reports and recommendations associated with work performed
Preparing work papers in accordance with BDO policy
Developing and maintaining relationships with engagement team and client personnel
Applying educational background to work performed
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability and willingness to travel, as needed
Preferred
Focus in Accounting or Information Systems
Leadership experience
Prior Internship or experience working within a public accounting or internal auditing environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow instructions as directed
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
