Responsibilities
Deliver automated solutions for software processes
Run tests for databases, systems, networks, applications, hardware and software
Identify bugs and quality issues in development, service or business processes
Lead & develop a full-stack test automation framework
Collaborate & actively engage with Scrum teams to develop test automation solutions
Assist Scrum teams in SDET training & resolving any technical issues
Actively engage with teams on day today basis and support them on Automation & Regression
Qualification
Required
Proficient programming skills in one or more languages and the ability deliver a clear, concise explanation of work via technical writing
Interest in and ability to discuss technical concepts beyond own immediate work
Applies enthusiasm for continuous learning to improve contributions and maintains craftsmanlike approach to work and, generally, understands how own work fits into broader technical strategy
Applies and hones core skills for software development and expresses interest in technology trends including design principles and patterns, and methods including Agile software development, iterative delivery, and cloud computing
Experience with Ruby and/or Angular
Experience developing and deploying applications within Kubernetes based containers
Experience in Agile SCRUM development techniques
Responsible to lead & develop a full-stack test automation framework
Collaborate & actively engage with Scrum teams to develop test automation solutions
Assist Scrum teams in SDET training & resolving any technical issues
Actively engage with teams on day today basis and support them on Automation & Regression
Preferred
Financial Services experience a big plus
Minimum B.S. / M.S. Computer Science or related discipline from accredited college or University
3-5 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering backend applications with Ruby, Angular, Ionic, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Restful APIs and related front-end frameworks
3-5 years of experience building internet facing and mobile applications
Proficient in following concepts: object-oriented programming, software engineering techniques, quality engineering, parallel programming, databases, etc
Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs
Proficient in managing multiple tasks and consistently meet established timelines
Experience integrating APIs with front-end and/or mobile-specific frameworks
Strong collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
