Responsibilities

Evaluate and present information regarding emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications and regulatory compliance reports

Assist clients with sustainability reporting and achieving Environmental, Social, Governance goals

Perform engineering calculations

Compile permit application documents

Prepare compliance reports

Meet and coordinate with clients to obtain and understand project information

Communicate with regulatory personnel

Evaluate control technologies and emission reduction options for client facilities

Provide mentoring and technical training to junior to experienced scientists and engineers

Qualification

Required

B.S. or M.S. in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields

Experience with emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and compliance reports

Experience in Project Management of air quality permitting and compliance projects is a must

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

5+ years consulting, compliance, or industry experience

Knowledge of USEPA, TN and other regional air quality regulations

Preferred

Knowledge of New Source Review procedures

Experience with Best Available Control Technology analyses

Familiarity with air compliance needs of the solid waste, manufacturing, mining, and power industries

Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD
