Responsibilities

Gain Experience In Various Areas Including

Water-related infrastructure

Water and wastewater treatment plants

Participate in multi-disciplinary teams on water projects throughout California and the western U.S

Conduct technical evaluations, supporting planning and design of water supply, water treatment, and wastewater projects

Coordinate with project managers, project engineers and staff, clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors

Assisting technical staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling, and evaluating project data, preparing reports, performing calculations for design projects, along with some exposure to CAD, GIS, and design

Assisting with field work, including water quality sampling

Perform project administration including preparation of reports, gathering of information, drafting proposals and correspondence, and completing progress reports

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work in diverse team environments, interacting with staff, clients, and stakeholders

Willingness to perform field work as needed

Entering into (within 4 months) or in progress toward earning a Bachelor's degree (minimum) or master's degree in civil/environmental engineering, or related field

Specific coursework or exposure to one or more of the following: CAD, Engineering analyses and design, Hydraulics, Water/wastewater treatment processes, Civil, mechanical, or structural engineering design
