Responsibilities
Responsible for working with all divisions to ensure all preparation of the accuracy of the division's revenue forms for posting into SHARE Financial - Accounts Receivable Module in a timely manner
Communicates with Division and programs to resolve any deposit discrepancies
Works closely with Cash Manager on conducting extensive research requests
Responsible for reviewing, researching, analyzing, and correcting financial data and reports of the General Ledger, Trial Balance, and the Journal Entries
Ensuring all revenue forms contain the correct information such as fund department ID, account, sub accounts etc and by verifying the deposit slips or the ACH Wire Bank addenda
Research all discrepancies with information or amount of deposits
Post all deposits for DOH into SHARE Financial
Verify all bank and desktop deposits are made within 24 hours of receipt of payment according to MAPS
Reconciliation is completed by downloading Excel queries to assess the appropriateness of deposits activities posted, identify and analyze account balances variances to make correct journal entries and have the ability to prepare financial data into usable reports and then analyze the information
Provide assistance as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or Business Administration
Two (2) years directly related work experience in accounting, auditing, finance, and/or budgeting
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Knowledge of SHARE Financials
Knowledge application of GAAP and MAPS
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel Spreadsheet
Must have extensive research skills and able to utilize multiple websites
Experience prepared and coordinate reconciliation
Strong oral and written communication
