Responsibilities
Partner with the internal editorial team to identify articles and research appropriate for sharing on Twitter
Write clear, engaging, and accurate Twitter copy that distills complex medical or technical topics into digestible, platform-appropriate posts
Maintain a structured Twitter content calendar, ensuring consistent posting cadence aligned with publication timelines
Coordinate or develop creative assets (graphics, visuals, thumbnails) to accompany Twitter posts
Schedule all content directly to Twitter using approved tools or native scheduling features
Monitor the Twitter account daily for engagement opportunities, audience questions, or potential issues requiring escalation
Track Twitter performance metrics and generate regular reports
Analyze engagement trends and optimize content based on insights
Recommend improvements to strengthen reach, clarity, and audience engagement on Twitter
Qualification
Required
Experience working with medical journals, academic publications, or healthcare systems
Basic design skills or familiarity with creative tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express)
Understanding of social media compliance considerations in healthcare environments
Proven experience managing social media for B2B, healthcare, academic, or technical organizations, ideally with a strong focus on Twitter
Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to translate complex or scientific content into concise, social-friendly language
Familiarity with Twitter best practices, analytics tools, and scheduling platforms
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a content calendar
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and respond quickly to emerging needs
Availability for approximately 10 hours per week, with potential for expanded responsibilities over time
