Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document technical and functional requirements
Translate business requirements into developer tasks and Azure DevOps work items
Design and implement server-side components using C# and ASP.NET MVC targeting .NET Framework 4.8
Build and maintain Razor views and client-side behaviors using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
Implement business logic, background jobs, and scheduled tasks without introducing API layers
Use Entity Framework or ADO.NET for direct database access and transactional logic
Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and security best practices
Work with Azure SQL / SQL Server for schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning
Collaborate on SSIS packages and ETL processes; validate integration points and data flows
Profile and resolve performance issues; apply caching and asynchronous processing where needed
Implement secure coding practices and authentication/authorization mechanisms
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline definitions and automated deployments in Azure DevOps
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with QA and business SMEs

Required

Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.8 (ASP.NET MVC, Razor views)
Proficiency in Entity Framework and/or ADO.NET, T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization
Front-end expertise with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Visual Studio 2022 for development and debugging
Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving production defects and performance issues

Preferred

Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks and automation
Hands-on experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools
Prior experience modernizing legacy .NET applications in enterprise contexts
Familiarity with Windows services, scheduled tasks, and job schedulers
Knowledge of application logging, telemetry, and operational runbooks
Understanding of security and data handling best practices
Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility testing
