The Senior Field Service Technician Level 2 will be responsible for start-up and commissioning of projects, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of wastewater pumps and control panels at customer sites.

Responsibilities
Evaluate, repair, and conduct hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical testing of submersible wastewater pumps
Troubleshooting of electrical control panels
General understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams
Perform start-ups and train customers on the equipment
Preventative maintenance and emergency callouts
Operating and maintaining a service truck with crane and out-riggers
Operating industrial equipment in a shop environment such as forklift, overhead cranes, etc
Working with various Company provided hand and power tools
Accurate record keeping inside Xylem’s work order management system
Create and maintain a safe and organized working environment and culture within the organization and following protocols at customer locations
Take care of company property
Demonstrates High Impact culture through innovation, accountability and empowerment
Must be able to function in a team environment

Qualification
Required
HS diploma or equivalent
2 to 5 years of technical/mechanical work experience
Able to pass background check & pre-employment drug screen
Electrically and mechanically inclined
Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
Comprehend technical information and communicate it clearly
Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices
Proactively seeks feedback from peers, team members, and manager
Applies new knowledge and tech to improve outcomes within team
Identifies and mitigates risks
Breaks down problems effectively and leverages RCA
Prioritizes team's and organization's needs over self
Owning execution
