Responsibilities

Design the front door to the Lakehouse. Your work will shape the first impressions and ongoing trust for thousands of organizations using Lakeflow Connect for enterprise data ingestion
Create experiences that serve both data engineers needing granular control and analysts wanting ready-to-use data
Own the end-to-end ingestion experience across connector setup, credentials, scheduling, monitoring, error recovery, and schema evolution
Define AI-native data ingestion by integrating Databricks Assistant into pipeline creation and troubleshooting
Create scalable patterns for a diverse and growing range of connectors

Required

5+ years of product design work experience
A bachelor's or higher degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
A strong portfolio of past projects demonstrating a solid design process, from inception to production
Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with both design and non-design stakeholders
Can execute beautiful visual and interaction work that's rooted in a data-driven and well-researched UX process

Preferred

Experience designing enterprise software, services, or other complex systems (Products in the Big Data space are a nice-to-have)
Experience with React, SQL, CSS, and/or Python is a nice-to-have
