Demonstrates proficient computer skills with ability to use multiple systems including scheduling, patient registration and Cerner while maintaining highly accurate work
Demonstrates effective telephone techniques and is able to answer multiple incoming calls and directs calls appropriately providing outstanding customer service using professional phone etiquette
Basic ability to use Microsoft Office to produce department documents in an accurate and professional manner
Performs various clerical functions as needed by department
Greets patients and offers assistance or seeks additional help as needed. Notifies patients of delays
Develops working relationships with referring physician's offices and provides needed information for patient care in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
One year clerical and/or receptionist experience
Exceptional communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Proficient computer skills with ability to use multiple systems including scheduling, patient registration and Cerner
Effective telephone techniques
Ability to answer multiple incoming calls and direct calls appropriately
Outstanding customer service using professional phone etiquette
Basic ability to use Microsoft Office to produce department documents in an accurate and professional manner
Ability to perform various clerical functions as needed by department
Ability to greet patients and offer assistance or seek additional help as needed
Ability to notify patients of delays

Preferred
Experience in a hospital or medical clinic
