HR Generalist - Chino Hills

The HR Generalist will manage both administrative and strategic responsibilities, focusing on employee relations, training, and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits; leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; and training
Handles employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate person
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Takes initiative and has the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Adapts to change and understands that this role may evolve over time
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency with Ceridian or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS system
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
At least two years' related experience required

SHRM-CP a plus
