UX Designer, Google Cloud Business Platform

Responsibilities
Help define and drive strategic product direction and long-term UX vision, challenging the status quo with fresh, user-centric perspectives
Own the end-to-end design process for complex product areas, translating intricate user journeys and technical constraints into simple, elegant, and shippable solutions
Build consensus and drive alignment across functions, working closely with product management and engineering leads to balance priorities and deliver outcomes in the best interest of the user
Collaborate with researchers to identify and synthesize user needs, rapidly iterating on designs based on insights, user feedback, and discovered opportunities
Convert a robust, user-centered design process while partnering with engineering to ensure flawless execution and adherence to Google’s product excellence principles
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design
Experience with fulfillment platforms, B2B commerce and order management, and subscription lifecycle management
Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions)
Preferred
Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization
1 year of experience leading design projects
Familiarity with leveraging generative AI tools and technologies to enhance design workflows, productivity, and creativity
Proven ability to lead design thinking/sprint workshops and drive alignment across cross-functional teams
Advanced craft and mastery in interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking
