Responsibilities
Assist with basic mechanical repairs, adjustments, and part replacements
Help troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and automation issues with guidance from experienced technicians
Support maintenance on CNC lasers, press brakes, welders, robots, and automated systems
Perform routine PM tasks (cleaning, greasing, oil/filter changes, inspections)
Assist with equipment setups, tear-downs, moves, and calibration or sensor checks
Shadow technicians during diagnostics, repairs, and new equipment installations
Gain exposure to robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and automation controls
Participate in continuous improvement activities and learn how maintenance supports uptime and production flow
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation Technician, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or a similar technical program
Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial equipment
Familiarity with tools and safety practices (HVAC, robotics, pneumatics, electrical basics, etc. is a plus)
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work hands-on in a manufacturing environment
Dependable, safety-focused, and able to follow instructions
