Acts Retirement-Life Communities is one of the largest not-for-profit owners, operators, and developers of resort-style continuing care senior living communities. They are seeking a Design Director responsible for developing and implementing design standards and overseeing outsourced design firms.

Responsible for the development and implementation of Acts’ design and material standards for all levels of care

Overseeing the interior designs developed by Acts’ outsourced design firms

Position will require travel in Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited interior design, architecture, or related program

Minimum of three years' experience with a commercial design firm

Minimum of two years' experience in senior living design and the specific requirements of aging individuals

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Preferred

American Institute of Architects (AIA) certification/licensure is strongly preferred
