Senior LevelOaks Inc. is seeking a skilled Roofing and Siding Service Technician to join their team. This role requires hands-on experience in roofing and siding installation, ensuring all work meets high standards of quality and safety.
Construction
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles
Install/Repair siding materials including vinyl, wood, or fiber cement on residential and commercial properties
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently
Perform trim carpentry work as needed to ensure proper fit and finish of roofing and siding installations
Conduct caulking to seal joints and prevent water intrusion
Read and interpret construction schematics to follow project specifications accurately
Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
Collaborate with other contractors on the construction site to ensure timely project completion
Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
Proven experience in roofing, siding installation, or related construction fields
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing and siding work
Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately
Must be able to plumb structures correctly to ensure proper alignment during installations
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
Preferred
Strong understanding of trim carpentry techniques is preferred
Knowledge of remodeling processes is a plus
