Early Career Water/Wastewater Engineer
RESPEC is a global consulting and services company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for water and wastewater projects. As an early career water/wastewater engineer, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to improve essential infrastructure through design and technical support.
Management Consulting
Responsibilities
Assist in the design of treatment facilities
Assist in the design of pipelines
Assist in the design of pumping stations
Preparing calculations
Preparing drawings
Preparing technical reports that support real-world solutions
Support fieldwork through site visits
Support fieldwork through constructions observation
Learn about environmental and regulatory standards that apply to water and wastewater design
Gain hands on experience with industry software such as GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field from an ABET accredited program
Engineer-In-Training certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Passion for water and wastewater systems and sustainability
Basic software knowledge (e.g., Excel, Word)
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel
