We Belong Here is a next-generation music and culture brand reimagining the festival experience. They are seeking a Junior Graphic Design Intern to support their creative team across print and digital design needs, providing practical experience in a professional creative workflow.

Responsibilities

Support the design team in producing print and digital collateral (e.g., flyers, posters, signage, menus, social assets, web graphics)
Create and resize layouts while maintaining brand consistency and visual quality
Prepare production-ready files for print, including correct setup for:
Bleeds, trims, and safe areas
CMYK/RGB color modes and color management
Image resolution and proper file formats
Basic preflight checks and packaging linked assets
Assist with organizing and maintaining working files (layer structure, naming conventions, versioning)
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently
Coordinate with team members to meet deadlines and deliverables

Required

Must be currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive academic credit
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Familiarity with printing standards and design-for-print principles, including file setup and production specs
Strong foundation in typography, layout, hierarchy, and spacing
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality control
Flexibility to learn and use new tools as necessitated by team workflows (ie. Notion, Figma, Canva, etc.)
Portfolio (school or personal projects acceptable) demonstrating graphic design skills

Preferred

Experience preparing files for vendors or print partners
Basic knowledge of brand systems and template-based production
Familiarity with After Effects or motion/social animation is a plus, but not required
