SeaCoast Underwriters, Inc., now Risk Placement Services, is seeking a Junior Underwriter to join their growing team. In this role, you will review homeowners insurance applications, collaborate with field representatives, and provide excellent customer service while assisting Senior Underwriters.

Responsibilities

Help review homeowners insurance applications for property and casualty coverage
Work closely with field representatives to gather the information needed to make these decisions
Process policy changes (endorsements), keep an eye on the underwriting mailbox, and respond to questions from agents and customers
Provide great customer service will be a big part of your day-to-day work
Assist Senior Underwriters with managing accounts and ensuring everything runs smoothly

Qualification

Bachelor's degreeMicrosoft WindowsMicrosoft OfficeAnalytical skillsCustomer serviceCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsTeam-oriented attitudeDetail oriented

Required

Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office

Preferred

The ability to review and analyze information to make decisions
Great communication skills to answer questions and explain decisions clearly
A focus on providing excellent customer service
Strong organizational skills to handle tasks like processing endorsements and managing emails
A team-oriented attitude to work well with colleagues and field representatives
