Responsibilities

Teach Visual Design for the Web in a MAC design studio/classroom
Provide individual and group critiques to students, offering constructive feedback and guidance
Remain current on trends and developments in contemporary graphic design, the marketplace, and pedagogy
Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts & Design Department to contribute to the overall advancement of the program
Provide academic advisement and support to students

Required

Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in a related field (or equivalent professional experience) is required
Minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience with a record of effective instruction and student engagement
Mastery in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign and other collaborative web applications and platforms such as Adobe XD, Figma, Framer, Click Up, etc
Demonstrated expertise in Graphic Design, especially web-based design solutions, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical proficiency and professional work
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect with a diverse student population
Commitment to teaching excellence and student success
