Inside Sales Representative – U.S. State and Local Government (Req ID: 2026-02)

Responsibilities
Conduct outbound calls and virtual meetings with state and local law enforcement agencies to identify new sales opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with agency stakeholders, procurement officers, and local government partners
Understand agency missions, operational challenges, and procurement processes to develop tailored solutions and value propositions
Support proposal preparation, RFI/RFP responses, and other sales materials targeted to state and local agencies
Collaborate with internal teams—including technical, legal, operations, and marketing—to deliver compliant, effective solutions
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, reporting, and CRM documentation
Stay informed on state and local government procurement regulations, trends, and competitive intelligence
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of inside sales or business development experience, preferably with state and local government or law enforcement clients
Proven success in generating leads, building relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a virtual environment
Preferred
Knowledge of state and local government procurement cycles, contract vehicles, and budget timelines preferred
Experience selling technology, software, or mission-critical solutions is a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred
