Responsibilities

Setting clear direction, effective plans, and measurable outcomes

Lead, mentor, and manage the scheduling team, including scheduling coordinators, administrators, and support staff, to foster a patient-centered, high-performance work environment

Identify training needs and provide ongoing education to ensure the team is well-versed in scheduling procedures, compliance, and customer service standards

Ensuring work is accomplished effectively by managing employee performance, work processes and other resources

Engaging employees to maximize their discretionary effort

Developing a pipeline of excellent talent to fill future business needs

Serve as point of scheduling contact for teams via phone, email, chat, or in person

Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner

Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving
