Associate Agent Product Manager
Stepwork is a company focused on automating repetitive tasks for IT teams using innovative AI solutions. The Associate Agent Product Manager will own the AI Agent building process, collaborating with engineering and end-users to design and optimize AI agents that enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Collaborating with engineering to design new product features based on UI-interaction patterns
Architecting complex flows that use computer vision to navigate software, including deciding the logic for variable injection and system triggers
Building deep relationships with end-users—typically IT and Operations teams—to ensure our agents are solving their most painful manual tasks
Partnering closely with every team at Stepwork and becoming a key source of customer insight guiding the long-term product roadmap
Owning their portfolio of agents end-to-end and making a real impact on how the world's most innovative companies operate
Building, Design, and Optimize enterprise-quality AI agents in collaboration with customers—understanding their specific UI workflows, pain points, and goals
Mapping out grunt work, testing flows with end-users in real-time, and iterating to ensure 100% accuracy and success
Ideating and Implementing creative 'computer-use' flows, determining how agents should interact with various SaaS tools and internal systems
Running tight feedback loops into Engineering—influencing feature development (like vision capabilities or prompt handling) based on real-world edge cases
Representing Stepwork externally—working closely with technical teams and prospects to lead key deployments
Qualification
Required
1-4 years of relevant experience (e.g., product manager, engagement manager, consultant, founder, etc.)
Deep technical acumen—able to understand and shape AI agent designs and logic
Strong communication and relationship-building skills—you are comfortable sitting side-by-side with IT professionals to deconstruct their workflows
Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you shape solutions as much as you implement them
Preferred
A Computer Science, Engineering, or Math degree—or equivalent technical experience
Experience with LLM prompting, computer vision, or workflow automation tools
