Responsibilities

Collaborate within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to develop and implement process improvements as well as support site initiatives
Work closely with manufacturing personnel in the highly automated production of composite aerospace components
Author, modify, and audit shop floor electronic work instructions (EWIs). Perform root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities to permanently eliminate defects
Troubleshoot production/equipment/program/tooling issues and implementing improvements and solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and 0 year or experience for Associate Manufacturing Engineer (Level 1)
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance per company and business needs
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) per company and business needs
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and 1 year or experience in the following engineering fields; Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Industrial, Chemical, Systems, Process, Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautics OR Masters with 0 years of experience for Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2)

Preferred

Experience with composite manufacturing
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience working with/programming Fanuc or similar robots
Experience using Catia V5 or similar CAD software
Experience using Solumina G8 or similar
Demonstrated understanding of root cause / corrective action processes and techniques
Experience using RCCA tools such as Five Why, Pareto, fishbone, etc
Experience drafting, maintaining, and modifying work instructions and/or process specification
