Responsibilities

Managing administrative program components
Overseeing multidisciplinary teams
Developing, planning, directing, and evaluating units/programs
Fiscal administration of budgets
Evaluating and developing personnel/staffing patterns based on program needs
Supervising and managing staff
Participating in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of treatment services
Providing strategic management and structural oversight of the Office of Patients’ Rights
Establishing and implementing required initiatives, protocols, and policies
Collaborating with internal and external partners
Making recommendations to Executive leadership
Monitoring effectiveness and reporting to executive management or other stakeholders

Required

A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in behavioral science, human services, social work, counseling, psychology, public health administration, business/public administration, hospital administration, or closely related field of study
Three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience in a behavioral health treatment program. Qualifying experience must include a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a full-scope supervisor responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating a mental health program or unit
Qualifying experience under this option must include administrative supervisory responsibility. Administrative supervision includes participating in the hiring, counseling, disciplinary actions, assigning work, completing work performance evaluations, developing work schedules and approving time off
Three (3) years of experience as a manager in an agency providing behavioral health services or social work services. Qualifying experience must include second-level supervision (supervising through subordinate supervisors), budget/fiscal administration, and responsibility for program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation

Preferred

Experience in the development, implementation, monitoring and oversight of clinical programs and/or a program administratively associated with client population (e.g., patients' rights, quality management, etc.)
Experience with assessing legislation and ensuring programmatic adherence to laws and regulations
