They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support operations and financial management teams, providing insights and analytics to drive strategic decision-making and cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

Support operations and financial management teams with reporting, data analytics and ad hoc projects

Partner with plant managers and operations leaders to identify and track against cost-saving opportunities

Provide business leaders with actionable financial insights and data to support strategic business decision-making

Monitor and report on key cost drivers: labor, materials, overhead, and logistics

Significant involvement in operations planning and financial forecasting/budgeting

Support capital investment decisions and evaluate ROI on major projects

Self-starter that is responsible for monthly analyses of production data and operational metrics

Support Novolex digital transformation activities by expanding the use of tools such as Power BI, OneStream, Blue Yonder, and Hyperion

Collaborate with IT to improve data integrity

Required

BA/BS required with emphasis in finance or accounting with 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills with an ability to anticipate the needs of the stakeholders and take quick action to satisfy

Experience collaborating and working successfully with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, with demonstrated strength handling competing priorities

Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis

Excellent data analysis, management, and visualization skills, including advanced experience with Power BI

Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and HFM/Essbase

High initiative, Self-Starter, Able to manage tight timelines/deadlines
