Bilingual Front Desk Patient Support Specialist
Family Centers is a nonprofit organization offering health, education and human service programs. They are seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Patient Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for patients and ensure smooth operational flow within the community health clinic.

Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients with professionalism and courtesy
Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain an organized appointment calendar
Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and other confidential documentation
Facilitate patient check-in and check-out process efficiently
Provide accurate information to patients regarding services, policies and procedures
Collaborate with medical/dental staff to coordinate patient care and address inquiries
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree or Business Institute Certificate
Fluent in English and Spanish
Professional communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft office software
Ability to work onsite 5:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesday & Thursdays
Comfortable with providing translation services in Spanish for patients and staff
Preferred
At least two years prior administrative/call center/customer service experience
Experience with administration of electronic medical records (EMR) - EPIC
Exposure/experience with medical terminology and provider billing practices
Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations
