Responsibilities
Manage product and engineering teams to deliver results through direction, feedback, and performance management
Supervise technical vendor relationships to drive feature and function requests for future product releases
Implement continuous improvements in development practices across technical fields including processes and security
Recruit and hire qualified team members to strengthen product and project teams, including contract staff as needed
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience
Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering, IT or related field
4-7 years Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment
Agile Methodologies Knowledge in software with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools
Technical Writing Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences
Agile Knowledge of the overall execution relating to all aspects of an agile development team, from defining the strategy and architecture through deployment and support
Agile Project Management Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools
Technology Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives
Communication Proven ability to effectively and efficiently connect with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence
Collaboration Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest
Business Analysis Strong analytical skills with ability to identify/analyze/ synthesize product use data
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO)
Other Technical Certification Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
