They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Junior Public Relations & Social Media Coordinator to help amplify the JHR brand, cultivate media relationships, and produce engaging digital content.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute media relations strategies to increase visibility and reinforce brand messaging
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, bloggers, and media outlets
Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, coordinating interviews and press events
Manage relationships with contracted photographers and videographers
Prepare drivers for media interviews and press obligations, ensuring professional representation
Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and related materials
Support crisis communication planning and reputation management
Plan, schedule, and manage content across multiple social platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
Innovate creative ways to showcase the team, drivers, and partners through engaging digital content
Curate and prioritize posts to align with team and sponsor messaging
Collaborate with partners and sponsors to deliver integrated content campaigns
Develop and execute a content calendar, incorporating partnership activations and key team events
Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to drive growth and engagement
Qualification
Required
2-3 years' experience in digital media, social media marketing, or public relations (motorsport/sports industry preferred)
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital content strategies
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
Highly organized with strong time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
Demonstrated creativity with the ability to adapt tone and content across multiple audiences
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (race weekends, testing, sponsor events)
Proactive, collaborative, and innovative mindset
