Responsibilities

Oversee providers of sponsored residential (host home) services

Interview and hire residential providers

Offer oversight and training

Assist with the licensing process

Make regular visits to each provider to ensure compliance with the Individualized Support Plan

Ensure compliance with agency, Office of Licensing, and Medicaid standards and regulations through site visits, supervision meetings, and review of documentation

Manage administrative and financial responsibilities to meet state and federal requirements

Be available for on-call responsibilities outside of agency business hours

Required

Education: Supervision of developmental disability services shall be provided by a person who holds at least a bachelor's degree in a human services field such as sociology, social work, special education, rehabilitation counseling, nursing, or psychology. Experience may be substituted for the education requirement

Experience: Supervision of developmental disability services shall be provided by a person with at least four (4) years of documented experience working directly with individuals who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability

Safe Driving Record Required: This position requires transporting clients and driving agency vehicles. Driving record must have no criminal violations in the last five years and no more than two moving violations in the last three years

Background Check: Candidates who are selected for a position must undergo a background check and drug screen
