Responsibilities
Design and develop AI-powered pipelines to process and extract information from documents including PDFs, scanned images, and digital text
Apply OCR (e.g. Azure Form Recognizer, Google Document AI or Open-source models) and layout analysis tools to digitize and structure document content
Engineer end-to-end document processing workflows, including data ingestion, classification, entity recognition, and validation
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand pain points and identify high-impact AI use cases
Rapidly build a POC on CGI Pulse AI platform, including data pipelines, models, APIs, and basic UI components, for validation and testing
Evaluate feasibility and ROI of potential AI solutions; prioritize based on business value and technical complexity
Responsible for making the POC successful by outline clear operational or financial gains
Responsible for transitioning from POC to full end to end implementation and leading the delivery into Production
Responsible for analyzing platform/solution design and cost on CGI Pulse AI platform with comparable capabilities with Azure or GCP
Responsible for designing AI solutions which can scale up and down and provide a PaaS offering to clients
Responsible for designing Access control, Data Security and Responsible use of AI
Responsible for client demonstration, creating Blog and presenting CGI Pulse AI capabilities in reputed tech forums and conferences
Responsible to work with Pulse AI product owners to add new features and contribute on Product development
Need to be able to debug Application backend Issues, API issues, Performance issues and Platform issues of CGI Pulse AI product and come up with solution to fix production showstopper issues
Responsible for Performance testing of the AI Solution as well as Penetrations/Security testing of the implementation
Responsible for tracking and managing and vulnerability fixes of all open-source products being used on the implementation
Responsible to define and create operations strategy and support manuals for the AI solutions being implemented on the Pulse AI platform
Responsible for setting up Monitoring and Alerting of AI Solution Accuracy and Performance drifts
Qualification
Required
Typically, a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field
5+ years of experience in software engineering and AI/ML development roles
3+ years track record of building and deploying AI-driven solutions in production
5+ years of strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks
Must have experience with both structured and unstructured data
3+ years of experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms
3+ years of experience of LLMs, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), and generative AI tools
Experience in data privacy, compliance, and ethical AI principles
Must Have – One end to end production implementation experience with IDP (Intelligent Document Processing) using LLMA/Gemini/GPT4.0 Models
Must Have – One end to end production implementation experience with Chatbots to build an application to provide Q/A on Structures and Unstructured data using GenAI
Preferred
Experience working with business domains such as healthcare, finance, insurances, utilities, or retail is a Plus
