The Project Finance Director will be the finance lead for the US region, responsible for overseeing all project accounting, financial performance, and partnering with senior leadership on strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
Lead the entire US finance function end to end
Own all project accounting across the region including WIP, milestones, revenue recognition, cost to complete and margin analysis
Be the financial backbone of every major contract, from bid stage through delivery to final cash
Full ownership of long term contracts, variations, claims and commercial performance
Lead monthly, quarterly and year end close with strong US GAAP reporting
Own US financial reporting, controls, compliance and governance
Drive FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and project level profitability
Business partner the US CEO, operations leaders and project directors on performance and delivery
Manage, develop and scale a team of 5 to 6 finance professionals
Own cashflow, working capital, billing cycles, retention and banking relationships
Lead audit, tax and compliance across all US entities
Improve systems, processes and reporting to support rapid growth and increasing project complexity
Work closely with the Group CFO on global reporting, PE requirements and performance reviews
Qualification
Required
CPA or equivalent qualified accountant
Strong technical grounding in US GAAP
Experience in PE backed, contract based or project led businesses
Background in construction, engineering, industrial services, infrastructure or similar project environments
Deep understanding of project accounting, WIP and revenue recognition
Commercial, pragmatic and confident operating at both detail and board level
Proven leader who enjoys building and developing teams
Hands on, proactive and comfortable owning the full finance remit
Happy being office based in Spartanburg and visible across the business
