Responsibilities
Design and develop applications using latest Java concepts in Spring Boot
Design and maintain APIs, services, and different payment sources
Work with API developers across the teams to build new API features at large-scale
Improve API standards and services
Review design documents and provide feedback on approach and estimates
Provide technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software
Ensure that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
You will complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities
You may approve technical solutions proposed by team members and elevate complex technical issues to IT experts, including architects
You will be expected to recommend development options, including design, build, and test
You will resolve technical problems discovered by the team and internal clients. Responsible for responding in a timely manner. Researching issues and performing root cause analysis
Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements complex software applications
Qualification
Required
Experience leading a team of developers
10+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java
5+ years of experience of Rest API development and maintenance using Spring Boot
Knowledge of and Experience with Java (API Dev), SpringBoot, Microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins etc
Knowledge with OpenShift, Kafta will be plus
Experience working in Agile and /or Scrum development
Problem solving and/or analytical thinking
Possess ability to manage workload, manage multiple priorities, and manage conflicts with customers/employees/managers, as applicable
Excellent oral and written communication skills
