Responsibilities

Reviews and processes all contractual documentation for vertical transportation projects and facilitates the proper management, processing and storage of the information/documents generated by the contractor and the Authority during the execution of the contract
Coordinates the receipt of and reviews contractor-submitted shop drawings, catalog cuts, hoisting plans, traffic control plans, requests for information, maintenance manuals, operation manuals, samples and permits prior to forwarding to other internal stakeholders
Reviews and evaluates contractor pay applications and ensures their accuracy
Maintains oversight of contractor work progress in the field to ensure contract construction requirements are met
Coordinates inter-departmental stakeholders to address worksite conflicts with existing facilities and contract requirements
Prepares cost estimates for proposed changes in contract scope
Maintains contract budget expenditures and projections
Participates in project schedule development and substantial completion inspections for contracts
Operates Authority vehicle between work locations to perform job duties as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of work experience in the vertical transportation field will be considered
A minimum of six (6) years of work experience on PLC programming; experience on troubleshooting, modifying and/or updating elevators and escalator controllers and electrical wiring diagrams with a strong knowledge of communication software such as RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, RS Logix 500 and RSLinx AND/OR, project/construction management background in all aspects of procuring and installing vertical transportation equipment, including scheduling, supervising and executing contracts
Demonstrated familiarity with A17 Safety Code for vertical transportation
Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license while in this job
