Loan Officer
Citizens Alliance Bank is seeking a Loan Officer responsible for managing an existing loan portfolio, developing new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing loans in accordance with the Bank’s established policies and procedures. The role involves extensive customer contact and requires sound judgment in the loan-making process while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Position Summary: This position will be responsible for managing an existing loan portfolio, developing new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing loans in accordance with the Bank’s established policies and procedures. The Loan Officer must exercise sound judgment in the loan making process. This position will have extensive customer contact and will be responsible for all operational aspects for consumer, agricultural, or commercial loans. This position is responsible for abiding by and keeping up to date on the Bank’s lending policies, as well as State and Federal lending regulations
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of the regulations governing consumer and 1–4 family lending practices
Innovative outlook to drive continual progress and retention
Process consumer loan transactions and aid on transaction inquiries
Analyze financial statements, cash flows, pay records and tax returns
Present credits and loans for approval to the appropriate authority as required
Be pro-active in obtaining new consumer and 1–4 family residential loan customers for the Bank
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize workload
Receive consumer and 1 – 4 family loan applications and approve or reject loan requests in accordance with loan policies and procedures
Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements as they relate to safety and soundness, compliance, and operations
Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels, and cross-sell products and services to accomplish the Bank’s goals
Service loan portfolio to ensure documentation requirements are met
Assist co-workers as needed
This position requires a valid Driver’s License
Demonstrate a strong commitment to customers and the Bank

Regular attendance and punctuality when reporting to work
Travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed
This position may require installation of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app on an employee’s personal mobile device
Adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to BSA/AML, as well as adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned and requested
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge
Three to Five years of banking experience
Preferred
Three to Five years of customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Suites
