The Senior Accountant is responsible for month end closing processes, ensuring the accuracy of cost of goods sold and inventory, maintaining accounts payable GL accounts, and preparing journal entries among other financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Cost of goods sold including freight, PPV, E&O, Labor and OH
Accounts Payable daily activity and reconciliation
Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
Balance sheet account reconciliations and clean up
Prepare and record standard and non-recurring journal entries
Complete assigned and other duties according to month-end closing schedule
Provide cross-functional support to the team, as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills desired (i.e., XLOOKUP's, sum ifs, pivot tables)
Experience with AX Dynamics or a comparable ERP
Self-directed with the ability to work independently through problems and recommending solutions
Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and willingness to accomplish the team's goals
Preferred
CPA certification is preferred (working towards is a plus)
