Responsibilities
Support Ownership and Prioritization of Team Backlog
Provide guidance regarding requirements to support scrum team during sprint
Participate in backlog refinement/grooming and sprint planning
Assists in defining and maintaining product vision, sprint goals and release planning
Maintain vision for the long-term use of responsible products
Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure product vision is maintained to support senior leadership goals as well as to align requirements and priorities
Drive agile practices and continuous improvement in products, analytics, and delivery processes
Conducts data analysis to inform product decisions and develops reports, dashboards, and KPIs using SQL and BI tools
Monitors industry trends relevant to products
Elicits requirements through interviews, workshops, document analysis, and other methodologies
Prioritizes requirements and mediates between business and IT to establish reliable schedules
Qualification
Required
3 or more years of subject matter experience with residential or commercial mortgage areas
3+ years of experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst roles
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience working with a backlog in an agile environment
Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile differing views, and abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Experience with and strong knowledge of software application development cycles, including QA and UAT design and management
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred
Experience in financial services or the mortgage industry with Non-QM industry
Experience with LauraMac software is a plus
Familiarity with driving implementation of AI driven solutions
GenAI for workflow usage and ML for predictive analytics
