Directional Drill Locator
Aspire Communications is a company focused on construction and utility services. They are seeking a Directional Drill Locator to accurately track drill heads, communicate with drill operators, and ensure safety standards are maintained on site.

Responsibilities
Accurately locate and track drill head using electronic locating equipment
Communicate bore path changes and depths to the drill operator
Read and interpret utility maps and plans
Monitor for existing utilities and potential conflicts
Ensure safety procedures and company standards are followed on site
Contribute proactively to a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, in line with company safety guidelines
Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and successes with supervisors and team members
Ability to accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate district office area based on client needs, business needs, and project scope
Qualification
Required
Accurately locate and track drill head using electronic locating equipment
Communicate bore path changes and depths to the drill operator
Read and interpret utility maps and plans

Ensure safety procedures and company standards are followed on site
Contribute proactively to a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, in line with company safety guidelines
Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and successes with supervisors and team members
Ability to accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate district office area based on client needs, business needs, and project scope
Understanding of materials, methods, and tools related to construction, particularly for underground utilities and conduit systems
Familiarity with DigiTrak, Subsite, or similar locating systems
1+ year experience with horizontal directional drilling and locating
Valid driver's license required
Ability to work after hours, weekends, and evenings when needed
Willingness to relocate or travel regionally for project locations
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and inclement weather
Must be able to stand, drive, and perform physical activities for extended periods
Physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina are necessary for tasks such as climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), balancing, walking, and handling materials
Must be able to wear and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in noisy or dusty conditions, and handle chemicals, solvents, and other mechanical or electrical hazards
Regional travel required
Preferred
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred
Class A driver's license preferred
